Market Supervision

We monitor all offers and operations carried out in the organized markets managed by B3. Through this activity, we aim to identify signs of irregular operations, such as manipulation of offers and prices, creation of artificial conditions of supply and demand, misuse of privileged information, fraudulent operations, and money laundering.​

During this activity, which may start with the signaling of alerts created in the BSM's supervised monitoring, analyses are carried out to identify irregularities, at which point the involved Participants may be called to provide clarifications and information about the operations, offers, and clients involved.​

Once the analysis is deepened and the case is opened within the BSM, the process may be filed or forwarded for possible enforcement action.​
