About the Self-Regulation Directorate

  • The Director of Self-Regulation represents BSM and has the following main duties:
  • Direct the work of BSM;
  • Execute the policy and determinations of the Self-Regulation Council;
  • Approve the organizational structure of BSM;
  • Provide the information required by regulators;
  • Prepare and submit for approval the work program, the budget proposal, and the annual activity report; and
  • Conduct the supervision of participants and the oversight of offers, operations, assets, records, and deposits;
