Self-Regulation Council

The BSM Self-Regulation Council, composed of up to 12 members, with at least two-thirds being independent, has the following main duties:​
  • Approve the  budget proposal and tge BSM's annual work program;
  • Supervise the compliance with the BSM's work plan;
  • Approve activity reports periodically sent to the regulator;
  • Approve BSM's regulatory, procedural, and operational standards;
  • Judge disciplinary administrative processes (PAD); and
  • Judge appeals presented by intermediaries within the scope of the Loss Compensation Mechanism (MRP).
